How to Make a Wedding Budget

Wedding Budget

Getting married with someone you love will be a wonderful experience. Each couple would like to have an unforgettable wedding ceremony with their family, friends, and relatives to celebrate this special occasion.

Sometimes holding a desirable wedding party as you dream of can cost you a lot of money. It is important for you for not ending up on a debt (loan) after the party is over.

You actually have a choice to hold your wedding party special but on a budget. What you need to do is to negotiate and compromise with your spouse and underline the love you have now (and in the future) is the most important thing than the wedding party itself.

It will be very important to have your wedding party on a good budget.

Here are some tips to make a Budget on your Wedding Party:

  • Decide the maximum total amount you can afford for the whole ceremony.

  • Allocate the maximum amount of each items needed, such as how much you are going to spend for meal for each guest, how much you are going to pay for photography? Plan the maximum amount for every expenditures.

  • Make priorities of all your wedding items. If photography is very important to you, then you should consider to pay more for photography than for the Wedding Venue or other thing that can be substituted.

  • Make a list of guests. It is crucial to make this list to avoid ordering too much food, invitation cards.

  • Make a detailed list on every item needed to minimize a sudden expenditure that occurs just because you forget to write it down.

  • Make a survey and research to find competitive price for your wedding dress, cakes, band, venue, flowers and other items on your list. Use you internet to help you do the comparison and find the best price.

  • Consider hiring a wedding planner to create an idea on your budget. You have to pay some fees, but sometimes it helps when you have no time to make a comparison yourself.

Overall, you have to stick to your budget, be discipline to yourself.

Having a wedding party is to announce your wedding and share your happiness with people close to you. It is not to show off your ability to hold a big party and do not let yourself become trapped into what people might expect your wedding party supposed to be.

Put, as a priority, your love and commitment to one another in building a happy and harmonious family.

Cheers…..
