I have a friend who I admire so much, he is still at young age (not more than 35), but what make me admire him is his financial vision.
He worked as a marketing staff for a middle class company, paid in a good salary. What he get actually more than enough for his lifestyle. But after his office hours, he runs his own business.
Maybe you wonder what kind of business that gives so much time flexibility? Most of businesses have to be run on certain time with certain commitment. His business of course needs commitments; business is not a business unless you make it run.
Okay, back to his business, yes, he runs an internet marketing business. He owns websites and blogs. His internet marketing business gives him passive income, while he only lives from his salary.
He invests the profit of his business back on the internet marketing. When I ask why he doesn’t invest on financial products, well he said that he prefer to invest it on a business he knows so well (he has more than 10 years experiences in internet marketing, he learn and practicing internet marketing since he was in college).
As a financial products self learner, of course I advise him to put some of his income on mutual funds, stocks, and others. But maybe later he will be interested on that.
